Pricing and RFQ
The iWay Enterprise RFQ system provides the Print House with a set of tools
for front desk and sales personnel. With these tools, the Print House user can provide rapid and
accurate quotes for even the most complicated Jobs. When logging into the system, the user can
calculate the costs of the various parameters, review the quote history of the customer and view
any other information needed in order to provide an accurate quote that will be both revenue
generating and competitive.
The Printer monitors all of the pricing parameters, carries out changes and adapts the pricing
scheme to the specific price quote of the specific customer. The Printer can offer several options
for the same quote, in order to enable the customer to choose the quote most suited to his needs.
In addition, the Printer can offer an automatic pricing system, which can be configured per Job,
per template or per customer, providing a real-time, automatic price quote.

Scheduling and Production: Floor Management
iWay Enterprise provides the Print Provider with a comprehensive scheduling
and production floor management system, which supplies online feedback from the work stations
along the production line. Working with this system, Print Provider personnel can view the current
Job production schedule as well as the complete work schedule of every workstation on the production
floor and thereby be in a position to control and optimize, in real time, the entire production process.

Job Definitions
The JDF Job Definition interface acts as the gateway for defining Jobs in the iWay
Enterprise. Job Definition can be defined either by the Print Provider Front Desk and
production staff or it can be defined by those Print Buyers who have been authorized by the Print Provider.
Through the JDF Job Definition interface, Job parameters can be submitted to the system where
access to the database is available. Job Definition can begin with a ready-made template designed
to save the time necessary for defining specific parameters.
After the Job Definition has been finalized, the user receives a comprehensive definition report
that provides a complete view of the Job construction, tasks, prices etc. This report enables the
production manager to understand all of the processes that make up the Job and subsequently allows
the production manager to continue on to production planning and scheduling.
